SPCG has con­se­quent­ly de­vot­ed some of its time and po­ten­tial to pro bono ac­tiv­i­ties. The firm deals with cas­es and pro­vides its opin­ions as well as le­gal help for free. This kind of pro bono ac­tions are usu­al­ly con­duct­ed for ei­ther gov­ern­men­tal or lo­cal agen­cies and for uni­ver­si­ties or oth­er non prof­it or­ga­ni­za­tions. For the above, SPCG has pro­vid­ed the fol­low­ing le­gal coun­sel:
  • Joint­ly with Hen­gel­er Muller (a lead­ing Ger­man law firm from Frank­furt am Mein) SPCG pro­vid­ed coun­sel and rep­re­sen­ta­tion for the Jagiel­loni­an Uni­ver­si­ty in the mat­ter of theft of pre­cious archives from the Jagiel­loni­an Li­brary and the sub­se­quent il­le­gal trans­porta­tion of those archives abroad, which were then suc­cess­ful­ly re­trieved.
  • The rep­re­sen­ta­tion of the Jagiel­loni­an Uni­ver­si­ty in a ju­di­cial dis­pute with one of its largest in­fras­truc­tural con­trac­tors and coun­sel in mat­ters of fi­nance law.
  • The firm pro­vides its opin­ions and coun­sel to var­i­ous par­lia­men­tary com­mit­tees, es­pe­cial­ly with re­gard to tax law, but also in oth­er mat­ters such as for ex­am­ple the coun­ter­ac­tion against vi­o­lence in all sorts of com­mu­ni­ca­tion means (tele­vi­sion, ra­dio etc.)
  • SPCG has also aid­ed many foun­da­tions and oth­er or­ga­ni­za­tions deal­ing with so­cial, ed­u­ca­tion­al and health ac­tiv­i­ties.
