The Polish GameDev industry will soon meet in Poznań during one of the largest conferences – Game Industry Conference, organized in parallel with PGA, fairs of computer games, multimedia, entertainment and technologies used in video games. During these four days (October 17-20th), an international group of several thousand people representing, among others, entities from the GameDev industry: game producers and developers, distributors, publishers, producers, suppliers of technologies and investors will pass through both events.
There will also be representatives of our law firm. We will be present in the MeetToMatch zone, where our lawyers can be arranged for an individual interview while on Saturday, October 19th at 13:30 we invite you to the workshop entitled “GDPR in the game – personal data of players and contractors in the creation, maintenance and marketing of the game”. Participants of the training will learn the key problems of processing personal data of players: not only what “formal” obligations are to be met, but above all – how to solve practical issues in order to act in accordance with the applicable regulations. The meeting will be conducted by Marcin Balicki, Associate and Marcin Ręgorowicz, Associate, specializing in the field of industrial property law and personal data protection.
