SPCG Law Firm advised Leading Brokers United GmbH,a GGW Group company, on the acquisition of 100% of shares in the company Grupa Brokerska “Odys” sp. z o.o., a nationwide leader in insurance brokerage. The acquisition by Leading Brokers United, the insurance brokerage arm of the German GGW Group, opens up new opportunities for the whole group in Central and Eastern Europe. The entry into the Polish market is considered to be a strategic step by the leading industry consolidator, affecting the insurance brokerage market positively.  

As part of the transaction, SPCG provided comprehensive legal advice at the preliminary stage by conducting due diligence and at the transaction stage in terms of negotiating the terms of the transaction as well as preparing the transaction documents. 

GGW Group, founded in 2020 in Germany, consists of more than 60 partner companies which have joined GGW in the meantime. The Group is headquartered in Hamburg and has become a leading player in the European insurance industry operating with its entities across 10 countries, employing more than 1,800 people.
