Jakub Górski PhD, Prof. Sławomir Dudzik and Mr Piotr Kamiński are the new managing partners of SPCG, one of Poland’s largest independent law firms. The new management team have been professionally involved with SPCG since the firm’s inception in 1988.

Together with Prof. Studnicki, Prof. Ćwiąkalski and Mr Górski, we started our legal advisory activities during the transformation period. It was a turbulent but fascinating time of systemic and economic change in Poland. After 35 years of managing the law firm’s work, it is with satisfaction that I hand over its management to its co-founder, Mr Górski, as well as Prof. Dudzik and Mr Kamiński – said Prof. Krzysztof Płeszka, the outgoing managing partner.

We see taking on the role of Managing Partners as a new opening and a challenge to support our clients’ harmonious development in a dynamically changing legal environment, not only in Poland. Therefore, we would like to focus on expanding the range of advisory services and using new technologies to support the firm’s work. SPCG is a group of more than 110 lawyers providing day-to-day legal services to Polish and foreign entrepreneurs in all major areas of law. Our aim is to create conditions for continuous development of our competent team, thanks to which we gain the trust of our clients and occupy a high position on the market of legal services. Jakub Górski PhD, attorney-at-law Mr Górski specialises in real estate transactions, administrative law and industrial property law. He has participated in numerous transactions involving the acquisition of properties for commercial purposes, mainly for the construction of large shopping centres. Mr Górski represents clients in administrative and judicial proceedings, also in tax matters. He deals with legal disputes, including those relating to unfair competition and industrial property. He represents clients in numerous arbitration proceedings. He is also a tax advisor. Mr Górski is a former faculty member at the Jagiellonian University.

Prof. Sławomir Dudzik, attorney-at-law Full Professor, Head of the Chair of European Law at the Jagiellonian University, Member of the Auditing Committee of the Polish Competition Law Association, President of the Polish European Law Association from 2009 to 2015, Member of the Advisory Board to the President of the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection from 2014 to 2017, Member of the Legal Advisory Committee to the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2010 to 2021. Prof. Dudzik specialises in competition law, state aid and structural funds, telecommunications law and personal data protection law. He represents SPCG’s clients in disputes with the Competition Office and regulatory authorities, including on matters of competition law, as well as in proceedings before the European Commission and the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Piotr Kamiński, attorney-at-law Mr Kamiński specialises in civil law, corporate law and civil procedure. He has been involved in a number of significant corporate acquisition transactions. He has advised, among others, in one of the largest corporate shareholder rights disputes in Poland. Mr Kamiński represents SPCG’s clients in numerous court, arbitration and administrative proceedings, including before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris.
